As an avid graphic design artist, I enjoy developing my skills and expanding my experience by seeking out new outlets for my creativity, whether it be pen and paper, 3D modeling or digital/multimedia mediums. I began my journey at Bryant & Stratton College where I learned basic web design and Visual Basic programming. I graduated with an Associates Degree in Programming and Internet Adminstration in 2000. Over the next eight years, I worked on various freelance projects. I have enjoyed the challenge of learning about new approaches for design as well as working with new software. I taught myself as much as possible, but it became clear me that the field of design was growing faster than I could keep up with. It was at that time I decided to return to school to further my education.
After graduating from the University of Akron with a BFA in Graphic Design, I continued to pursue my goals as a graphic designer through freelance work as well as working on my own creative projects. Graphic design is the main focus of my work, but 3D design and programming have also become an integral part of my repertoire. My future goal is to become a graphic designer with an emphasis on 3D design and other digital mediums.
